Kiondos of Hope

Wonderful hand-woven bags, called kiondos, are created by women in Kenya to pass onto their daughters on their wedding day.

Because of the energy, drive, and support of two women in Bellingham, these wonderful bags are now imported into the US. Today, these bags were on display for anyone to buy. The proceeds go back to the artisans and help support a school that has now been operating for four years - graduating their first students this year.
